Guess what.........it's raining!

Image
Hello Woofers, Daisy here again. It's been a wet day today. It started this morning when we went out first thing.  As we moved towards the sea wall we bumped into the lads chasing around after the ball. Both Ollie and Hugo ran back to say hello to us, mainly because the ball was just too big to get into their mouths! Not only wet but windy as well! OTL and I didn't hang around and soon  left them chasing their tails. I was hoping to see Devo and Zoro but they were up earlier or later than us, whatever, we missed them! The Oxide Daisy were in full bloom again and we even saw a Goats Beard in full bloom which is a little earlier than normal. Back home OTL settled down in front of the computer and after a lot of humming and jarring and blessing the computer he managed to make the big printer and the scanner talk to the computer! Slowly OTL is getting to grips with the controls but like most computers, it likes to pull a flanker and throws a wobbler when yo...

Taddly Poles getting bigger.

Hi Woofers Daisy back again! Just as a change, we were late in getting to the sea wall but we also met. up with Jasper, an old chap who knows how to get a nibble when. he wants! His Two Legs offers a nibble to me but I don't take nibbles from anyone except OTL and Jasper just shoves his nose in and the nibble is gone! Hey! Where's my nibbles? We left him trying to talk some more nibbles out of his TL and headed down to the beach. I was sniffing my way along the beach when the sandy beach came into sight! Well,  what is a girl going to do? That's it, I was straight in to the water paddling up to my tum! I didn't hang about and after the paddle I was back up the beach and up the steps to the sea wall! I've just been in for a paddle! As we approached the car park we caught up with The Lads who were chasing a ball, as normal! You would have thought they had got fed up with ball chasing by now but you know these retriever types, tear around all the time and making a noi...

I'm an Engineer!

Hello Woofers, Guess who? Yes, it's Me! It's been one of those 'Funny' days when having decided to get up early we did manage to get up so early that we didn't see any one on our morning walk until. it was too late! The clouds were a little uninspiring but they did show off some sunbeams bouncing off the sea in the distance. Bouncy Bouncy! A couple of days ago TM asked if we would keep our eyes open for the seed pods on the Wild Sweet Peas, so, we found them but there's no seed pods, just very green leaves.  Green pods ! It seems there will be a load of seeds when they go pop! I suppose the same could be said for the Oxide Daisies as they seem to be even more this year! It was later as we were about to drive off that Devo and Zoro started banging on the side window. OTL wound down the window and was playing 'Nose Bounce' with them while I was trying to get some sleep! It was only when I. opened an eye that I spotted them! Shame we couldn't stay for ...

A Bit Boring!

Hello Woofers, Daisy here again. It's been one of those days when I should have stayed in bed. I got woken up by The  Missus first thing this morning and try as I could, I couldn't get back to sleep. Just for a laugh I went back to bed and instead of waking up OTL I cuddled up around his head and we both woke up an hour later than normal! It was all rush and tear to get up and down the sea front where I did my best to be pleasant to some new woofers we met. Well, there's no one in front and no one behind in fact here's no one around at all! I did notice the barge out in the estuary digging away at the trench for the electricity supply from Germany that is planned in the near future. Let's see if we can get a better shot of it. There, that's better! We met up with a Poodle woofer we have met before. The Two Legs wanted a stroke but as Holly used to say......no nibble, no strokes! Mind you, he never got any strokes anyway! The afternoon was spent snoozing on OTL...

Too Many Woofers!

Hello Woofers, Daisy Dog here. You know I planned to get OTL up and out of bed while it was still dark and down to the sea front for a race along the sea wall. OTL got licked all around his ears and then on top. of his head and the result was......he fell asleep! I dunno, just 'cos it's a Bank Holiday that doesn't mean he can spend the day in bed! We met up with the lads who were out chasing their balls, again! Well, you had it last! By the time we had caught up with them they had lost the ball and sent the TL's out to find it but no success! OTL and I got fed up and  went off in search of new flowers and found a new batch of Oxide Daisies. The Cowslips were showing signs of seed pods. The wild Sweet Pea plants were growing but no where near big enough to sprout flowers yet!  It was pleasant walking through the tunnel and back to the car and close to the car park we bumped into a gang of woofers and I kept close to OTL incase they were unruly and wanted to bully me!...

OTL Plays Taxi Driver!

Hello Woofers. Daisy here. Sorry we missed the blog yesterday, the day was most pleasant, loads  of sunshine on the morning walk and just a gentle breeze. No sign of the Lads or Devo 'cos we were up early, mainly because I woke OTL up with the old 'Wet Nose in the Ear' trick! It's amassing how high he can jump when I give him the old 'Wet Nose' trick! Once again we were up early this morning to catch the early sunrise, only the sunrise was a load of rubbish! Last night The Missus instructed OTL that he had to take her to a birthday party and then bring her back later on in the evening. That means we didn't have time to do the blog and OTL didn't even get a tip for the trip! The only good thing today is the F1 Racing from Monaco, Verstuffin isn't in pole position, for a change! See you tomorrow. Luv, Daisy BOO!

New Kid on the Block!

Hello Woofers, Daisy here again. It's been a lazy day today. OTL has been playing on the computer and getting all. wound up 'cos it keeps saying he can't do what he wants it to do! I see that Auntie Sarn is trying to pick me up on my spieling, I mean, just how many dogs do you know who can type, let alone get the spieling right every Tim! Now, don't get me started on my gramma! This morning we met up with Devo and Zoro who were going in the opposite direction, but we had a game of 'Sniff' and also met up with a funny woofers with big eyes! Who are you calling 'Google Eye'? We all had a game of 'Sniff & Chase' but everyone was getting tangled up in the leads. I was the only one who was off running free!! Where's Shorty? OTL has been putting some more earth into the pond.  The earth is  special stuff for ponds, it doesn't contain any strange germs and on top of that he planted some grass type plants into the pond earth as well. The gra...

I Spy a Hairy Tailed Thief!

Hello Woofers! Daisy here. Well, we have all read about Chewie and the squirrel in the back garden and I must admit, we have never seen one of these things in our garden......until now! After our morning walk which was a bit earlier than normal, mainly cos I chased OTL out to the car and off to the seaside. 'cos I needed a poo! When we got down to the sea.  front we were greeted by a red sky! But, as OTL reminded of the saying, Red Sky in the Morning, 'Woofers Warning' OK, it's not the best red sky we've seen in a long time. Another thing we haven't seen for a while is the (Ox Hide)  (Oxide Daisy) which alwatys flowers after the Slippy cows! Cow Slips are finished and now it's the Oxide Daisies turn. Back home OTL was called from. the kitchen to view a Hairy Sparrow that was feeding from the bird feeder! It was only when the squirrel spotted us we were able to identify it! Our very first Squirrel! It didn't hang about once it spotted OTL and there was j...

They are getting bigger!

Hello Woofers, Daisy here. Remember we got some Taddly Poles food?  Well, the idea is you take a pinch of food and scatter it on. the pond surface. The food will then disintegrate and provide  food small enough to be eaten by the Taddlies! TM took over feeding them and instead of a pinch or two, she set about shovelling the food in as if it was going out of date! Now OTL reckons that over feeding them, they will grow to an enormous size, big enough to leap out of the pond and drag you back and eat you up! OTL reckons that when they finish the food and eat the Two Legs in the garden, they will start coming around the village attacking everyone they catch! Scary or wot! Just imagine , I go into the garden for a wee before going to bed when there is a splash and. a Daisy Dog disappeared! It's going to be safer staying out here! Looking out to sea we decided that Taddlys could, with a little effort, mud hop. over the mud and attack the ships  going up the Thames. All th...

Thunder & Lightening

Hello. Woofers, Daisy here. A little late today, that's 'cos I've been helping OTL input the contacts list in the new computer. I can't help it if my claws cover two buttons on the keyboard! I was sitting on the desk and my tail sort of fell onto the keyboard as well and for some reason we can't up load the loads of pictures he took today! Sorry, you will have to put up with these three! This is a new shot of the two trees. We haven't taken the picture from this angle before and it's interesting coming from a new vista! Today the Poo Bin is full up so we will leave that where it is! This one is good, these are the only location. for Foxglove on our walk, there is one other plant but you saw it yesterday. So, back home I decided I needed a wee and managed to get OTL. out but it was raining, that's it, one quick wee and back home! The rest of the afternoon was spent playing on the computer and no, we still had trouble with the picture uploading! I'm of...

Trust Sarn to pick. up on a small. mistook!

Hello Woofers, Daisy back again! One thing about today is,warm and sunny! Flowers were out blooming all over the place and looking as pretty as they can. Sadly, no Devo or Zoro and The Lads were so far back we didn't bother waiting for them. Because they are wild flowers, I'm not too sure what they are called but they are more fun once you find out what they are called, like, Ladies Knickers or Flower Nightcap.  Proper flowers are almost always long and Latin! The only bit of sun we saw was far away on the horizon and it was shining down on a container ship as it headed off to Antwerp! I do enjoy sniffing in the forest glades, you can pick up all the sniffs from yesterday Lunchtime we headed off to get some fuel for the car and then, just for a treat, we went the long way around the costal path. I even had a run on the beach and then on the sea weed  covered sea wall. I noticed that there were some butterflies dancing amonge the leaves on the trees, on some of the leaves...

Ooops!

Hello Woofers, Daisy here. Sorry about missing yesterday's blog we sat down on the sofa and fell asleep and by the time we woke up, it was time to go to bed! However, we are here today! Just been watching the F1 Racing, not the most exciting race but it was good to see some new faces on the podium! Out around seven this morning, we saw The Lads in the distance but decided they were just too far behind and it wasn't worth waiting for them. Why do they take so long walking across the field? Not the most exciting view across the Medway but at least it wasn't raining! OTL has been busy trying to catch up on filing his contacts from the phone. Loosing the computer wiped out a whole lot of data! Just for a change, Poo Bin, Bench and Two Trees! Well, it makes a change from looking at them from behind! Just wait until Autumn, that will be glowing red! How about this one, Daisy going down the tunnel! No new sniffs, just the local fox. If all fails, get hold of a tree and take a shot...

Too Many Lads!

Yo! Woofers. Daisy here again. The weekend should be fun, it's F1 Racing from Emilia, Italy. We were up a little later than normal and. met up with The Lads who were starting out by chasing the ball and arguing about who gets first grab! OK, settle down you lot and share the ball! I'm not as quick as the big lads so I tend to get shoved to. one side, so I stand off to the side and let them get on with it! When it gets busy I go off on another path and let OTL play with the camera. It's a dew drop, not a raindrop! The sea looked rather boring, the sea was as flat as mill pond. Mind you, there were some flowers sticking. their heads up above the grass. I've not seen this one before! You never know, one day you are walking along and suddenly there is a new flower saying 'Good Morning'! I've seen this before but can't remember. it's name! Lunchtime the Taddly Poles were swimming around and blowing bubbles when the came. up to the pond surface. Another th...
