Mistaken Identity

Hello Woofers,

Daisy here.

I. made a bit of a Boo-Boo this morning.

I was looking for Devo and Zoro when Ilept from the car in the car park.

Looking towards the middle of the football field I spotted a couple of white/grey woofers of the same size as Devo and Zoro.

Well, expecting our normal game of sniff and chase I ran full pelt over to where they were.

My mistake.

It turns out these two are an old husky and a wooly standard size poodle with dirty white hair!

My mistake!

Still, we had a little game of chase and sniff while their owner caught up with them and put them bacon their leads, thinking I was going to start woofing and causing trouble!

As if I would do something like that!


The sea was calm.  this morning and was on its way out. If I can get OTL down there tomorrow we might catch the high tide mark and I'll et a swim or even a deep paddle!


No squirrels in the trees today but we have seen them on this path before.

Lunchtime we were out on our normal walk and noticed that the grass had been trimmed back but just enough to be able to walk by without being whipped to pieces 


Well, at least the grass is cut down!


How am I supposed to wee over all this lot!

I've been snoozing most of the afternoon and typing this up has made me a little peckish so I'll better see what is for tea!

    Yo Daisy. Well as if you would cause trouble, I mean it's your manor but you wouldn't cause trouble. We've had quite a busy day because the boy had the day off, so there's been a few walks with and without him, lots of playing in the garden, Chewie has been teaching him to fetch. I left them together while I popped over town and they were both worn out when I got back. Chewie is snoozing on the sofa now with his paws up. The boy walked all the way to the Galleria and back and he bought Chewie a toy, some snacks and a woofer cupcake for his little cupcake woofer. Nothing for me!!!! No apple turnovers, it's Chewie who's top of the pops in our house now! Smashing pictures today, glad the grass has been cut a bit, cos them ticks are sneaky and they hide in the long grass waiting for an innocent defenceless little woofer to pass by. Well it's lashing down and very windy here now, so, I think the boy and me are going to follow Chewies example and snuggle up on the sofa with our paws up and stay in the warm. Getting ready for a weekend away!

Hi Woofers Daisy here. There was a gentle breeze blowing this morning and we could see a small yacht sailing between the  trunks of the two trees. If you screw your eyes and put your nose right up to screen you can just see the yacht! Once you got past the trees the whole estuary opens up and you can see the beams of light bouncing off the sea. There wasn't any sign of Devo or Zoro and once again The Lads were too far away for me to hang about waiting for them to catch up. I stopped for a sniff in the woods and OTL took a picture of a squirrel that was swinging through the trees like Tarzan. Trouble is, you can't see the little hairy thing for the trees! Lunchtime was fun, we went out to get some petrol as the care is going to be used by The Missus this weekend. Is this jumper yours and what's this thing with four legs?

Hi Woofers, Daisy here. It was around four fifteen that OTL crawled out of bed for a wee. but he woke me up at the same time. So, around six forty five we found we had both over slept! Now,  late arrival means no Lads or any other signs. of woofers! With a little fiddly diddly OTL managed to make an interesting cloud formation! A bit further along came across a bench with a sweater draped across the back. It has obviously been abandonde by some young Two Legs judging by the drawing on the front! I decided to sniff it but not wee on it, I'm good like that! Back home we had a look for froggies in the pond but there was nothing but Taddly Poles. UNTIL! There, on the path by the side of the pond, out of the pond TM spotted a Tidily Froggyheading for the undergrowth! Grabbing a clean mug from the dish washer, she scooped the Froggie up and rushed up to show OTL. Out comes the camera and quick as a flash he ran off a few snaps before letting it go again. Saturday sunshine.

Hello Woofers, Daisy Dog here again. Well, I was looking forward to a bit of sunshine and a stroll along the sea wall. The Lads Were in front of me and down on the seafront so I hung around on the middle path which was far enough away from thos ball throwing hooligans! It was also interesting to see a ship come steaming up the Medway, looking to get into the docks while the tide was in it's favour..   There seemed to be a few more daisies in the field that there were yesterday but I reckon they will last just as long as the Cowslip flower. Looking across the field you could get a better idea of just how many flowers were growing in the field. I'm not sure what is the next flower to sprout, maybe the Goat's Beard will come into flower. I have noticed a few fungi sprouting and they are a funny thing. they are the third growth. You see we have the mammals which includes woofers, insects fish, in fact anything that breathes or moves.
