Getting ready for a weekend away!
Hi Woofers
Daisy here.
There was a gentle breeze blowing this morning and we could see a small yacht sailing between the trunks of the two trees.
If you screw your eyes and put your nose right up to screen you can just see the yacht!
Once you got past the trees the whole estuary opens up and you can see the beams of light bouncing off the sea.
There wasn't any sign of Devo or Zoro and once again The Lads were too far away for me to hang about waiting for them to catch up.
I stopped for a sniff in the woods and OTL took a picture of a squirrel that was swinging through the trees like Tarzan. Trouble is, you can't see the little hairy thing for the trees!
Lunchtime was fun, we went out to get some petrol as the care is going to be used by The Missus this weekend. Instead of going straight home we carried on down to Grain again, just in time to catch the high tide.
Tides in and the sniffs are high!
Of course if the tide is high and the water is warm enough there is every chance I could go in for a bit of a deep paddle!
Now deep paddles arte OK but I have to shout at OTL to throw the stick first!
Mind you it's a problem if the stick sinks!
If it's a floater I stand a better chance of getting it back for another throw!
Sometimes it is just a little bit too far!
It is then that you have to say bye bye and watch it sail off across the ocean.
Back home we have been sorting out all her stuff for the weekend of card making and demonstrating. That means we get to watch some of the DVD we have been missing out on!
If the sun shines we could also fiddle about with the pond flowers.
Bye for now.
Luv,
Daisy
Yo Daisy. Wot smashing pictures today, glad you managed to get a dip in. Shame about not meeting your mates though. Now Chewie and I have got another badge from his tracker, this time it says we've done enough miles to walk all the way round Loch Ness, now I reckon if they'd drained it, by now Chewie would have filled it again. So we've now done just over 80 miles in the last 3 weeks. Chewie is laying on the sofa with his paws up in the air to give them a rest. My neighbours came round this evening and helped do my front garden, it looks a right treat from how it was earlier today. I think we've all earned a paws up evening now. The boy brought home some beers and chocolates for them when he came back from his evening walk. I bet Mrs TM is busy sorting out wot she'll need to take this weekend. You and OTL can have snacks and not worry about the crumbs for a while. Take care, stay safe all. Love, little Arch's mum, the boy and Chewie (the loch ness monster). xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
