Fairies and Hammer Head Taddly Poles!




 Hello. Woofers,

Daisy here.

OTL and I were woken up early this morning. The Missuss had been up early or maybe up late, you never know with her!

All we can say is that she was in bed when we woke around six this morning.

OTL. staggered off into the bathroom for a shoulder while I sneaked into his bed for a pre getting up snooze while he had a shower!

We didn't take the camera with us cos it looked like.  it was going to be a dismal day.

Once we had got around the corner where the poo bin was, I spotted Devo and Zoro sniffing up on the hill.

We had a great time sniffing and chasing each other around hunting for rabbits. Devo and Zoro had never caught a rabbit but Zoro had caught a mouse that was hiding in the grass a couple of weeks ago and ever since has been searching for mouses!

Back home we went into the garden to see what the Taddly Poles were getting up to.


Well, it was a little scary seeing all those Hammer Head Taddly Poles circling around and of course there was Jaws leading the way around and licking his lips every time he went past where OTL was standing!

OTL said we didn't have. anything to fear 'cos Esmeralda was standing guard from her seat in the tree!

 


Lunchtime we left Esmeralda sitting in the tree throwing bits of bark at the Taddly Poles.

There have been some local archaeologists digging what could be Iron Age graves but as far as we can see, there are no bones poking up in the air!


 Just let me loose and I could sniff where all the bones are buried!

What these archaeologist need is a Sniffy Woofer digging for Britain!

OTL says what he wants tomorrow is an extra hour in bed, as if I'd let him!

    Yo Daisy. Well sounds like you've had a busy day, same here. I can't get over how many taddlies you've got. Is Esmeralda counting them for you? I bet you could sniff out them bones in no time and it would save them chaps all the hard work of digging. Glad you got to meet up with Devo and Zorro this morning. Now, Hairball Harry has been catching things, his TL said he'd caught 3 squirrels and a magpie. Chewie and I have had a very busy day today. We were in the vets for 3/4 of an hour, Chewie thought it was his best day out ever. He got loads of treats and cuddles and apart from trying to lead the community singing in the waiting room because he wanted a game of chase with a rather large woofer, he was very well behaved. To top it all off, the vet didn't charge us for going to see her. Bonus, it meant I could afford to buy Chewie loads of treats, some toothpaste and ear cleaner. He's got his flea stuff and worming tablets for the next 3 months as well. Chewie was so pleased with his visit, he said he'll be calling back there again. Also another plus, the vet thinks he should hang on to his crown jewels for another couple of months at least. Chewie met Buster on his walk this afternoon and they had a sniff and a chat about the local sniffs. So all in all, although it's been very busy and we've finally sorted out some insurance for Chewie, it's been a good day. Maybe we'll all get a lay in tomorrow on account the forecast isn't so good. Getting ready for a weekend away!

Hi Woofers Daisy here. There was a gentle breeze blowing this morning and we could see a small yacht sailing between the  trunks of the two trees. If you screw your eyes and put your nose right up to screen you can just see the yacht! Once you got past the trees the whole estuary opens up and you can see the beams of light bouncing off the sea. There wasn't any sign of Devo or Zoro and once again The Lads were too far away for me to hang about waiting for them to catch up. I stopped for a sniff in the woods and OTL took a picture of a squirrel that was swinging through the trees like Tarzan. Trouble is, you can't see the little hairy thing for the trees! Lunchtime was fun, we went out to get some petrol as the care is going to be used by The Missus this weekend. Is this jumper yours and what's this thing with four legs?

Hi Woofers, Daisy here. It was around four fifteen that OTL crawled out of bed for a wee. but he woke me up at the same time. So, around six forty five we found we had both over slept! Now,  late arrival means no Lads or any other signs. of woofers! With a little fiddly diddly OTL managed to make an interesting cloud formation! A bit further along came across a bench with a sweater draped across the back. It has obviously been abandonde by some young Two Legs judging by the drawing on the front! I decided to sniff it but not wee on it, I'm good like that! Back home we had a look for froggies in the pond but there was nothing but Taddly Poles. UNTIL! There, on the path by the side of the pond, out of the pond TM spotted a Tidily Froggyheading for the undergrowth! Grabbing a clean mug from the dish washer, she scooped the Froggie up and rushed up to show OTL. Out comes the camera and quick as a flash he ran off a few snaps before letting it go again. Saturday sunshine.

Hello Woofers, Daisy Dog here again. Well, I was looking forward to a bit of sunshine and a stroll along the sea wall. The Lads Were in front of me and down on the seafront so I hung around on the middle path which was far enough away from thos ball throwing hooligans! It was also interesting to see a ship come steaming up the Medway, looking to get into the docks while the tide was in it's favour..   There seemed to be a few more daisies in the field that there were yesterday but I reckon they will last just as long as the Cowslip flower. Looking across the field you could get a better idea of just how many flowers were growing in the field. I'm not sure what is the next flower to sprout, maybe the Goat's Beard will come into flower. I have noticed a few fungi sprouting and they are a funny thing. they are the third growth. You see we have the mammals which includes woofers, insects fish, in fact anything that breathes or moves.
